The input signal for the Type 9349 is usually obtained from a discriminator with a NIM standard fast negative logic output signal.
Due to the longer effective scale and greater accuracy inherent in the 240° movement, the round front panel instrumentation provides excellent readability in both modes.
Provides zero point rejection for any linear range up to 100%. By adjusting this control, any relatively constant count rate background can be subtracted from the data. Additionally, suppressing the zero point enables observing frequencies beyond the nominal full-scale limits with greater accuracy than can be obtained by switching to a higher range. 7 linear and 2 logarithmic time constant switches help accurately read the frequency of the input signal.
In addition to front panel instrumentation, it has outputs for current and voltage recorders, as well as a high-level voltage output for control or monitoring applications.
