Amplifier A has four summing inputs, and amplifier B has two summing inputs. Both amplifiers can invert the signal. If a non-inverting output is required, Amplifier A can be cascaded through Amplifier B to form a non-inverting 4-input summing amplifier. By connecting the A input in parallel with the B input in parallel, the Type 533 can be used as a non-inverting amplifier with gains of 1, 2, 3, 6 or 8.
The wide dynamic range and high bandwidth allow the ORTEC Model 533 to be used to sum and/or invert any signal from DC to 7 MHz bandwidth, such as most NIM standard linear or logic signals. Convenient oscilloscope monitor test points are located next to each front panel connector (six in total).
