CIRS 603AThe skull of the head phantom is manufactured from a plastic-based tissue substitute, while the stroma and surrounding soft tissue are made from a proprietary water-based polymer. The entire model is housed in a clear vacuum-formed plastic casing to prevent the gel from drying out.
CIRS 603AThe entire skull portion of the skull body of the head phantom is filled with a spacing of1.5cmof3mmOrthogonal 3D mesh of diameter rods. The five extended axes intersect at the reference origin of the grid. The end of each expansion shaft is equipped withCTandMRMarkers allow for accurate laser alignment as well as image registration.
