l The phantom is used to test hospitalsCT performance, made of plastic, Catphan500, Catphan600, Catphan5700, CTP500, CTP600, CTP700, etc. The other is the hospital's magnetic resonance performance testing phantom, which is completely made of plexiglass. There are also two models, the cylindrical one is Magphan® SMR170, and the manufacturer is the American Phantom Laboratory.

l Phantomlab worked with physicist and philosopher Goodenough, Ph.D., to develop the Catphan® phantom. The new Catphan® phantom design is based on more than two decades of scientific research and clinical experience in medical imaging instrumentation. This phantom can be used in various operational evaluations and quality assurance systems of axial and spiral CT scanning imaging systems.
