——The ideal image-guided training device
The CIRS 070S and CIRS 070L models are realistic and durable prostate training models suitable for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Enhanced realism has been achieved withZerdine® gel formulation, which better simulates ultrasound contrast between the prostate and background tissue. Gel formulation provides CT, MR and elastography contrast for multi-modality imaging. CIRS' proprietary Z-Skin™ formula more accurately simulates the rectal wall, providing a more realistic scanning environment.
Z-Skin™ provides perineal access during interventional surgery, and it is punctured afterwards to allow the Zerdine® model to hold itself closer together without exposing the internal gel to the air during the scan. Less air exposure better protects the gel from drying out, increasing the lifespan of the phantom. In addition, Z-Skin is highly stretchable and protects the gel within the phantom from tearing when the right-angle probe is operated at severe angles. This model is suitable for both end-fire and side-fire ultrasound transducers. Zerdine ® is specially formulated to minimize tearing when punctured, providing self-healing capabilities during interventional surgeries to significantly extend the life of the prosthesis.
The phantom is available in two configurations: one with embedded lesions(model CIRS 070L prostate training phantom), and the other without embedded lesions (model CIRS 070S prostate training phantom).
