Brief description:This small monitor has a built-in 2" diameter flat GM tube and speaker and is available in 3 ranges. The instrument can detect alpha, beta and gamma rays, and the unit of reading is counts/minute (or mR/h). The thin window of the detector is concave and protected by a solid iron grid on the outside; while the TBM-3SR also has a methacrylic beta shield that protects the thin window of the GM tube.

This small monitor has a built-in diameter of2'' flat GM tube and speaker, available in 3 ranges. The instrument can detect alpha, beta and gamma rays, and the unit of reading is counts/minute (or mR/h). The thin window of the detector is concave and protected by a solid iron grid on the outside; while the TBM-3SR also has a methacrylic beta shield that protects the thin window of the GM tube. Anti-saturation circuitry does not drift below full scale in high radiation fields and can detect 100 R/h. You can also choose the Sv/h unit model when ordering.
The small size, light weight and large area of the detector make it an effective tool for monitoring worktops or checking for radioactive contamination in places such as palms, fingers and clothing. The performance is particularly outstanding in fire departments, ambulance departments, emergency handling and personal use (such as measuring human bodies, cars, luggage, house surfaces, etc.).
