SAM945 is a handheld isotope identification instrument. The instrument is widely used in nuclear science, public safety, radiation protection and other related fields. The instrument has diverse measurement functions: such as background measurement, dose and dose rate, search for radiation sources, isotope identification, etc. The instrument can also select different probes to meet the requirements of different measurement situations, such as wide dose rate range, highly sensitive isotope identification probe, and additional neutron probe. This instrument also has the largest variety of isotope identification in the industry, supporting the identification and detection of 497 isotopes through an expanded database.
The biggest feature of SAM945 is that it can be directly connected to Bluetooth devices such as smartphones. Through the installed application, measurement and data processing can be performed directly on the user end. From a safety perspective, a certain measurement distance can be maintained to avoid damage from radiation sources. Remark labels can be directly added to the measured results such as search results, isotope identification, dose rate and other data to facilitate users to study the later data. In addition, the instrument can also be equipped with a GPS function to obtain accurate measurement data.
