USAThe CIRS 008P Dynamic Pelvic Phantom is a precision instrument used to study and reduce the effects of prostate movement within the pelvis. The CIRS 008P dynamic pelvic phantom provides known, accurate and repeatable 2D target motion within a water-equivalent phantom. The CIRS 008P dynamic pelvic phantom is designed for end-to-end analysis of image acquisition, planning and dose delivery in image-guided radiotherapy.
The phantom represents the average shape, proportions and composition of the human pelvis. will contain prostate and/or water-equivalent cubes of various detectors were inserted into the pelvic cavity of the phantom. The cube is connected to a motion actuator box, which causes two-dimensional target motion through rotation of the cube insert. Due to its matching density with the surrounding material, the movement of the cube itself is not visible in radiography. Given its density differences, the prostate and its movements can be addressed.
UseCIRS motion control software independently controls prostate motion. The graphical user interface offers an unlimited variety of optimized motion profiles while simplifying the operation of the Dynamic Pelvis Phantom to an intuitive level.
