Product introduction:

CIRS's tissue-equivalent CT dose phantom is designed to more accurately simulate the patient's anatomy, with sizes ranging from infants to adult patients, and can present CT dose data more accurately and reliably.

Provides phantoms of different sizes for all ages: eight abdominal phantoms, eight chest phantoms, and four head phantoms.

The interior of the phantom is made of epoxy preparation, faithfully imitating theAbsorption and scattering properties of X-rays from soft tissue or water within the 1% diagnostic energy range.

each bellyThe CT dose phantom consists of a specially formulated embedded vertebral bony rod that mimics the appropriate density for the patient's height/age.

chestThe CT dose phantom includes vertebral bone (equivalent to rods and lungs), and the head CT dose phantom wraps an equivalent layer of bone representing the skull bones formulated for the appropriate patient size/age.

All phantoms have five through holes for1.30 cm diameter to accommodate a standard CT dose probe and five tissue-equivalent rods with plugged holes when not in use. One hole is in the center and four are around the perimeter, 90 degrees and 1cm away from the center to the outer edge.
