Long rod radiation measuring instrumentIt is an instrument used to measure thermal radiation at long distances, usually consisting of a long rod and a detector. Its working principle is based on the inverse relationship between radiation energy and distance, and its temperature or thermal radiation characteristics are determined by measuring the radiation energy of distant targets. This kind of instrument is usually used to measure high-temperature objects, such as volcanic eruptions, high-temperature reactors, and steel smelting.

Long-pole radiation measuring instruments are suitable for high-dose places and places with relatively narrow space. It can be extended to 4m, can measure operator dose and dose rate simultaneously, and alarm thresholds can be set separately for all detectors.

The working principle of the radiation measuring instrument is based on the law of thermal radiation and the law of black body radiation. The long rod probe receives the thermal radiation energy emitted by the target surface and converts it into electrical signals for processing and analysis, thereby obtaining the temperature information of the target surface.

Specifically, the probe of the long-rod radiation measuring instrument contains a hollow metal tube inside, which can isolate external temperature interference. The tube wall is covered with a high-reflectivity lens and a high-absorption coating, so that only the small hole at the end of the probe can receive the thermal radiation energy of the target surface, and then convert it into an electrical signal for measurement through an infrared sensor.

Long pole radiation measuring instruments usually consist of the following components:

  1. Long rod probe: used to receive radiation signals and transmit them to the interior of the instrument for processing and analysis.

  2. Signal amplifier: Amplify and filter the received signal to improve the signal-to-noise ratio and reduce interference.

  3. Data acquisition card: used to convert the processed signals into digital signals and transmit them to the computer for further processing and analysis.

  4. Computer software: used to control the work of the instrument and display the measurement results, and can also perform data analysis and processing.
